My wife and I came across this restaurant by chance while walking around P’town and were intrigued by the menu which was different from the fairly standard menus across town. We were not disappointed, the five tapas style sharing plates we ordered were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The wait staff were attentive and the vibe quiet and relaxed. We needed vegetarian and gluten free and both were easily available. The cocktail descriptions are hilarious (and the drinks scrumptious). Could not recommend highly enough. - just go.

I was blown away by the dinner here. Everything was so amazing and delicious. Whoever created the dinner menu should be congratulated. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone in Ptown. The restaurant itself is very simple and understated but if you just wanna have a fantastic Mediterranean meal then I highly recommend. It is a small place so I’m not sure if it’s good for large groups, but possibly?

Great addition to the cuisine in the area - the Mediterranean flavors were a good change of pace. All the dishes we ordered for dinner were delicious, fresh, and high quality. A good variety of vegetables, seafood and meat options. Favorites were the Bacalhau à Brás, Baba Ganoush, Smoked Pork Belly, and Sticky Date Toffee Cake. Though there’s nothing I wouldn’t order again. Main criticism was the high price-to-portion ratio. Recommended.

We decided to try something a little different in PTown. Mezzeterranean was a great experience. The unique menu items are served in a tapas style. The flavors are varied and well done. All items had freshly chopped herbs and the portions were nicely done. Presentation was great and the menu was well explained by our server. The cocktail menu is unique and yummy.

Go. Here! It was legitimately on of the best meals ever. Everything was flavored impeccably. The service was absolutely fantastic and the outdoor seating was perfect. We started out with popcorn (on the house) which was a fun savory and yummy. Then we had the dip trio of hummus, tzatziki, and htipiti with bread and pita. We next had the shrimp skewers which were really shrimp on a plate(no actual skewer) but they were so good, who needs a skewer? Next was the pork belly and then the chicken skewers(again not on a skewer) and also again so good the skewer doesn’t matter . We finished with orange cake which was nice and the date toffee cake which was NEXT LEVEL AMAZING!

Possibly the best meal in Ptown in a long time, especially among the non-seafood-centric places. We ordered almost half the menu and everything was not just delicious, but the flavors were all so interesting and creative. Every dish was not just simplistic, there was a flare of nuance and sometimes something unexpected. A few of the dishes were a bit small for the price but the experience was overall great. The atmosphere is very nice too, it's a small place and it's very cute, we sat on the patio on the street. It's great how they have plenty of options for vegetarians, pescatarians, and carnivores alike, so everything can find dishes they will enjoy.

07/25/2025 This place is listed as Mediterranean fare... but it's also 'tapas' or small plates. Knowing this, the plates are small, but with decent portions. After ordering a nice bottle of pinot noir, we started 'celebrating' our 32nd with Hummus, Taramosalata and the Lobster arincini. Then we ordered the lamb chops, cod cheeks and pork souvlaki. We shared all these plates and loved them all. To cap off the evening we also shared the Olive oil orange cake with lemon zested Greek yogurt. Never had this dessert before, but it was really really good.

Located in the heart of Provincetown’s Historic District, Mezzeterranean offers a refreshing twist on Mediterranean cuisine that stands apart from the usual fare found in town. This intimate spot specializes in tapas-style sharing plates, each crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients and vibrant, expertly balanced flavors. From the moment you step inside, the quiet, relaxed atmosphere and attentive service make for a welcoming dining experience.

What truly sets Mezzeterranean apart is its inspired menu, skillfully blending Mediterranean classics with inventive twists. Dishes like the Bacalhau à Brás—a savory Portuguese cod dish—and the creamy Baba Ganoush showcase the kitchen’s dedication to authenticity and nuance. The inventive presentation, accompanied by freshly chopped herbs and thoughtfully paired ingredients, elevates every bite. Vegetarians and gluten-free diners will find satisfying and clearly marked options, reflecting a considerate approach to diverse dietary needs.

I was particularly impressed by the pork belly, which was rich yet delicately flavored, harmonizing perfectly with lighter offerings like the shrimp skewers and the much-praised dip trio of hummus, tzatziki, and htipiti served with warm pita bread. The attention to detail extends to the cocktails; their playful descriptions invite curiosity, and the drinks themselves are as delicious as they are entertaining.

Finish your meal with the sticky date toffee cake or the bright, moist orange cake—both desserts deliver a sweet, memorable conclusion that lingers delightfully. While the portion sizes lean towards the small side, encouraging multiple shared plates, the overall experience and quality of each dish justify this approach wonderfully.

Mezzeterranean is a gem for anyone seeking authentic Mediterranean flavors presented in a fresh, imaginative way. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this restaurant offers a unique and satisfying culinary journey that deserves a top spot on your Provincetown dining list.
